As I am a freshman, I feel that it is my obligation to make some suggestions concerning the basic conditions of our dormitory.
Generally speaking, the dormitory building situates in a satisfying environment and is wellequipped. However, there are two unpleasant aspects that cause inconvenience to us: 1) the heating system is in need of improvement—it fails to maintain warmth in our rooms during the winter; 2) the furniture is not designed in a practical manner –there lacks a shelf to place books. I would be more than happy if my proposal could be considered and positive changes take place in these regards.
