¡¡¡¡A big fire swept the Grand Hotel in December 20,  76 

1987. About 3,500 people were in the hotel while  77 

the fire broke out. More than 80 killed, most of  78 

them died of smoke and several hundred were hurt.  79

out. Thick smoke as high as 500 feet raised above  81
