Carlisle selected those famous characters, dramatic events from many historical facts, and sketched the promenade of lively characters and historical events. Carlisle took the position of the oppressed and warned the British ruling class to reform their policies, otherwise the great rebellion that broke out in France would happen in the same way in Britain.
